Mixed Media Layering – Abastract Art Journaling with Collage

Hi there, Susanne here sharing an abstract art journaling process using handmade collage papers together with different materials and mark making. For my collage papers I used stamps from Pencil Marks 8 and Weed Love 2025.

I am starting the page by making some loose scribbles with a normal pencil all over the page, just to break the blank paper. I then adhered my collage papers with some mat medium. Once dry I added a bit of light green grey vinyl paint and acrylic inks. I finished the spread with some fun and loose mark making using Neocolors, different pencils and a tiny bit of stamping with the text stamp from Mix It Up 4.
