Mixed Media Tags with Inky Background and Collage Leaves 3

Hi there, Susanne here sharing a mixed media tag with an inky background stamps from Mix It Up 7 and Collage Leaves 3, some collage and embossed texture.

I started the tags with an inky background using Distress Ink and some drawing ink from Ferris Wheel Press. Once the ink was dry I used our Mini Ink Dots stencils to create some pattern with water. That just gave me a ghost kind of texture – but I really like it.
When the tag was dry I stamped some images from Mix It Up 7 and adhered some handmade collage papers.
Once everything was completely dry I used the lovely dot pattern stamp from Mix It Up 7 together with Distress Embossing powder. That gave me some amazing background texture.
The focal points are images from our Collage Leaves 3 stamp set. I embossed them in black to a gelli printed paper. The sentiment is build with our Mix A Sentiment stamp set.
