Abstract Art Journal Page with Collage and Pencil Marks 1

Hi there, Susanne here with a mixed media spread in my handmade junk art journal using stamps from our Pencil Marks 1 stamp set. I combined it with a background collage, gesso and mark making with Neocolors. This little journal is perfect to experiment and play! I will link up a tutorial on how to make your own at the end of this post.

For the background of this page I used handmade collage papers and some handmade washi tape (Video is linked at the bottom of the post). I adhered the papers with a glue stick and covered the whole spread with a layer of clear gesso. I applied some white gesso as well to bring in some white space. To add even more interest to the background I added some stamping with Mixed Media Marks 1 and Pencil Marks 1.
