Abstract Mixed Media Art Journal Page

Hi everybody! Today I am sharing an art journaling tutorial. I am creating an intuitive abstract painting with collage, stamps, mark making and inks. I am playing with stamps from Mix It Up 6 and Mix It Up 4.

I started the page by stamping some images from our Mix It Up 6 and Mix It Up 4 sets and made some scribbly marks with a pencil. I then adhered collage papers with my Tombow glue stick and applied a layer of clear gesso over the top. I used a mix of handstamped papers and some from a paper pad.
Once the gesso was dry I added some acrylic ink (Antilope Brown from FW) and some fluid acrylics from Daler Rowney.

My focal image is hand drawn and I used our Sketchy Leaves 6 stencil as a guide.
