Watercolor Art Journal Page Tutorial – Mark Making & Collage Fodder

Hi there, Susanne here sharing a new art journal page today with watercolors, mark making, collage fodder and stamps from Mix It Up 4, Pencil Marks 1, Butterflies and Moths and Collage Leaves 3.

I started the spread by applying watercolors in a circular shape on my page. I used cobalt turquoise, dark blue, a redish brown and a light yellow.

Once the background was dry I added some stamping with images from Pencil Marks 1 and Mix It Up 4 to bring some more interest to the spread. I made some paint splatters in black and white and added some metallic watercolors in copper. To finish the spread I adhered my collage elements. I picked two butterflies, that I had embossed in white to vellum, some vintage paper pieces and a flower I made in one of my latest exclusive videos for members (https://youtu.be/o2AWgshulDI)
