Easy Art Journaling with Watercolors, Mark Making & Stamps

Hi there, Susanne here with an easy and playful watercolor spread using mark making, different stamps and a few collage bits. I enjoy painting abstract and loose with watercolors because I really love the properties of this medium. Scroll down for a quick process clip.

I am working with watercolors that have some granulating effects and metallic pigments. For my mark making I am using (coloured) pencils, Neocolors and stamps from our Mix It Up 5, Mix It Up 6 and Round In Circles stamp sets.
To make sure that the whole spread looks vibrant and dynamic it’s important to leave some white spots between the paints and marks! This gives highlights and movement!
