Art Journal Page Tutorial with Mix it up 2 and Stencil Background

Hi there, Szilvi here! Today, I’m going to show you the creation of an art journal page. To create the background, I used the Scribbles stencil and some elements from the Mix it up 2 stamp set. I completed the page with a pattern from the I Heart Art set. I really enjoyed the process of making this! First, I colored the page with acrylic paints, and then I scratched arbitrary patterns into the still wet paint. Next came the stamping, followed by stenciling. I colored the two hearts with a touch of watercolor paint. Then I splattered some ink stains because I really love decorating pages with ink splatters.
