Easy Mixed Media Art Journal Page with Mix It Up 7

Lindsey (doodlings_cards) here with some some inspiration for a small art journal page using collage elements and stamped images from the Mix It Up 7 stamp set.

To start, I inked up the Mini Textures 1 stencil with Distress Oxide ink ink, spritzed it and pressed it onto my art journal page.

Then I used different stamps from the Mix It Up 7 stamp set to add more colour and texture.

I used the flower from Mix It Up 7 as the focal image, stamped on a Gelli print. For another collage element, I stamped on tissue paper – I often do this as it creates a really thin print that you can adhere to a journal page, without seeing any hard edges.
