Inky Greeting Card with Sketchy Leaves 6 #2

Hi there, Susanne here sharing a clean and simple greeting card using our Sketchy Leaves 6 stencil to create the focal image together with an inky background.

For the background of this card I used some lovely inks from Ferris Wheel Press, but any other inks will work! I applied a bit of the inks (I mixed a green with a tiny bit of purple) to my gelli plate and then dipped my paper in. I usually make more backgrounds at once! I pimped this background a little by stamping the script stamp from Mix It Up 6 and some metallic watercolor splatters!

My focal image is created with our Sketchy Leaves 6. I put some Distress Oxide Ink (Spiced Marmalade) through the stencil using a blending brush and immediately added the glitter embossing powder. I heat set this and cut the image out.
