Messy Art Journal Page with Sketchy Flowers 3

Hi there, Susanne here and I’m sharing a messy art journal page in my new handmade pocket journal using our Sketchy Flowers 3 stamps and one of the Mixed Media Borders. The background is a combination of acrylics and collage. For a title I picked a sentiment from our Mixed Sentiments.

I started this page by adding a few collage bit and then smooshing down some fluid acrylics in Magenta and Burnt Sienna. After the paint was dry I stamped one of the leaf borders from Mixed Media Borders. I added some white acrylic ink splotches and some splatters to bring in highlights.

Whilst the paint was drying I stamped flowers from Sketchy Flowers 3 and coloured them in loosely with watercolors. I cut them out and arranged them on my spread. I added a sentiment from Mixed Sentiments and put a tab to the right for some extra interest.
