Art Journal Page with Grungy Butterflies

Hi, Szilvi here with a spread in my handmade pocket art journal! I really like creating in this book. Even if I have little time, it’s great fun to create. Today I brought you a simple mixed media page with one of the Grungy Butterflies.

I applied acrylic paints of different colours to the page, then drew shapes with watercolour pencil and washed them a little with water. I ran distress ink all over the page and splattered it together.
Then I simply centered the stamp of my choice and a text sticker with my thoughts. To add texture to the background I used the dots stamp from Pencil Marks 6.
