Vintage Collage Embellishment with Inky Flowers

Hi there, Susanne here sharing three collage fodder embellishments I made from papar scraps using stamps from our Mix It Up 7 and Inky Flowers stamp sets. I created this cluster for the 100 days project!

Each collage fodder element includes a little envelope with a note to myself, writing about what I am grateful for or happy about! I love using these ephemera pieces not only on art journal pages! They are also great for mixed media tags, greeting cards, scrapbooking layouts or to decorate and embellish albums or planners!
I already shared a bunch of tutorial during the last weeks on how I make them. You will find them here, here, here and here.

For the challenge I allow myself only to use up papers that I’ve already cut up and focal images that are already in my stash. On this piece I picked a gelli print made with PanPastels and our Sketchy Leaves 4 stencil and stamped the ticket from Mix It Up 7. I also used a torn piece of a gelli print I made with alcohol inks and a flower stamp from Carved Collection 2 as my base. The leaf was made with our Sketchy Leaves 1 stencil (no longer available).
For the envelope I used some old book paper. As my focal image I picked on of our Inky Flowers that was also stamped to a gessoed old book page and coloured in with watercolors. It has a quiet vintagy feel to it.
To finish the embellisment I used words from our Mix A Sentiment stamp set and some die-cut butterflies.

I hope you like the piece! Thanks for stopping by today!

xx Susanne
