Collage Fodder from Scraps – 100 Day Project Day 1 to 3

Hi there, Susanne here sharing my day one to three of the 100 Day project! I recorded my process for all of them and I also explain a bit more about what I am doing in my videos, which I will link underneath!

Everyday for 100 days I combine some positive thoughts and gratitude with collage fodder.
I already prepared 100 tiny envelopes, which I’ve cut from gelli prints and old book papers and I am going to write something positive or something that I am grateful for or happy about into each of these envelopes. I am doing that everyday for 100 days and then I am going to create a collage ephemera piece with that envelope and scrap pieces from my stash. Only paper scraps and “ready-to-go” stamped images are allowed! The pieces I am making will be perfect for future projects like art journal pages, tags, greeting cards or journal decoration.

Day 1: On this piece I used images from our Pencil Marks 8 set which were embossed in black to gelli papers. I also used a little ticket stamps from Mix It Up 7 on one of the paper scraps I picked.

Day 2: This time I kept it a little bit more vintagy! As my base I stamped the big ticket from Mix It Up 7 to a gelli paper scrap. I decorated it with elemenst from Mix It Up 5, Collage Leaves 2, Grungy Butterflies and Butterflies and Moths.

Day 3: On this element I used a stamp from Mix It Up 4 as my base – stamped to a gelli paper. My focal image is one of the Butterflies and Moths I embossed it in black and colored it with metallic watercolors. For some mark making I used a purple Neocolor II crayon.
