Mixed Media ATCs using Doodle Flowers 2

Hey! It’s Laura on the blog today and I have some mixed media Artist Trading Cards to share with you using the Doodle Flowers 2 stamps as my focal images. This stamp set is up on sale this month with 10% off!

To create my ATC’s I used some gel prints from my stash that I had created using acrylic paints and a mix of products from Rubber Dance. I used small scraps and tore some large prints up to create a collage background which I glued down and sealed using matte medium.

Once it was all dry I added some stamping using VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink. This is a bold, black pigment ink and is perfect for crisp black stamping. I used the dots stamp from the Pencil Marks 8 stamp set. I then used a couple of stamps from the Mix it Up 4 Stamp set.

While the pigment ink dried I stamped out my focal images and sentiments from the Doodle Flowers 2 stamp set. I coloured my images using alcohol markers and then fussy cut them out.
