Mixed Media ATCs with Paper Scrap Collage

Hey! It’s Laura on the blog today and I have some artist trading cards (ATCs) to share with you that I’ve made using some scraps from my stash and images from Butterflies and Moths.

Do you ever find after a gelli printing session that you have so many prints and scraps that you don’t know what to do with them? I have a whole drawer! So I decided to use some of them up to create some ATCs. I used my paper bits to build a collage background on the cards.
ATCs are little cards made for trading amongst artists and they measure 2.5″ by 3.5″inches

I kept it simple and used a glue stick to stick some collage pieces down to my ATCs. You can see in my prints the Ornament 1 stencil featured along with some stamping using Mixed Media Marks 1 for the grid lines in some of the prints.

Once I had trimmed the excess off I then added some stamping using VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and the new Carved Collection 6 stamp set and Mix it Up 5.

I have used the Butterflies and Moths stamp set for my focal images, simply stamping in black on white card and fussy cutting them out and then adding words from the Mix a Sentiment Stamp Set.

I love how these turned out and it was great to use a few of those scraps from my stash and turn them into a project. You can find a process reel on my Instagram @meerkatmakesbyL and on my YouTube Channel linked below:

I hope this gives you some inspiration to get creative today 🙂

Happy crafting!
