ATCs with Gelli Prints and Doodle Flowers

Hey there, it´s Evi back on the blog today with four mixed media artist trading cards. For these cards I made a background with the Gelli Plate and used the beautiful new Doodle Flowers 2 stamps.

It was a lot of fun making this background. I used acrylic colors in the shades yellow and pink and the stencil Marks 2. I then added further accents with texture paste and the stencil Small Triangles and then used the stamp set Mix It Up 4 to finish it off with little details. I stamped the flowers on paper that I had used to clean my roll of paint, so this was also used and therefore matched the colors perfectly.

I then cut out the flowers and stamped the words of the stamping set on black cardboard and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. I partly sewed around the cut backgrounds with matching yarn and then glued on the flowers and attached the words with staples.

I wanted to add a little something extra and had the idea of stamping the border stamp from the set Mix It Up 4 onto a piece of masking tape and then tearing off small pieces and using them to additionally attach the flowers.

I hope you like these ATCs and wish you a lot of fun using your stamps and stencils.
