Colourful ATCs with Pencil Marks – Tutorial

Hello art friends, how are you?

The weather here has been absolutely awful, it feels like it’s been wet and windy for ages and I’ve been craving some colour, so today I settled down for a little art session.

I started with my favourite Distress Oxide technique – swiping a few colours on my craft mat, spritzing with water that has some gold mica powder in it for added sparkle, and mopping up with white card. I really love the effect this creates.

I cut some ATCs from these,
then used the other bits for stamping on.

I did a little background stamping and paint splattering on the ATCs and cut out the stamped images.

I arranged these on the ATCs, glued them down and stamped some words onto a yellow scrap of the paper.

Next I edged the words and cards with black Distress Ink, stuck the words on and added a bit of mark making.

Oh yes – these colours make me happy!

Until next time,

hugs from Angie x
