Mixed Media Index Card with Doodle Flowers and Stencil Background

Hi there, Susanne here sharing a mixed media icad using a stamp from our lovely Doodle Flowers 2 set together with a Distress Ink & Marks 3 stencil background.

Some days I just want to play and experiment a little with my materials and tools. For this index card I did not actually use an index card from the stationery store. I cut some watercolor paper with a frame die in a similar size. For the background I stamped the Marks 3 stencil to the background using Distress Oxide in Peacock Feathers and Distress Ink in Rusty Hinge. I coloured the stencil with the ink pad, spritzed it with a bit of water and pushed that onto the paper.
To bring more interest to the background I applied some liquid charcoal in black and did some stamping with letters from our A to Z stamp set.
As my focal image I adhered one of the leaves from the Doodle Flowers 2 stamp set combined with a bit of collage and words from Mix A Sentiment.
