Inspirational Pantone Postcard

Hello, it’s Sara Ferret again. Recently there is a trend of altering Pantone postcards. And I decided to do a little inspiration with this topic using the Pencil Marks 7 stamps set to create some unique focal images. 💛💛💛💛
This is a box of 100 postcards in different pantone colors, the number comes out and if it has a number. In this case I have used a yellow color, the idea is to alter the postcard with decorations of the same color tone.
I used the leaves stamp, from Pencil Marks 7 set, with yellow acrylic paint, and I tried to make several combinations of different yellows until I found one that would match the pantone of the postcard.
When you are using acrylic paints with your stamps it’s important to clean them right away or to keep them wet until you have time to clean them. If the paints dries on the stamp it’s quite hard to get it off. In case you have dry paint on a stamp, spritz it with water and let it sit for about 10min, then try to rub the paint off. If that doesn’t work you can try alcohol, that should work. Clean the stamp with mild soap afterwards.

There is not much complication to make it, I went over the leaves with a black marker, and I made a combination of different materials to create depth. In the background I stamped the letters in black, from Mixed Media Marks 1 stamp set, and the round ones with distress embossing glaze. Finally big black splash with the posca mop’r.

Thanks for stopping by today! xx Sara
