Mini mixed media canvas to give as a gift

Hello, it’s Sara Ferret again. Today I’m going to make a mini mixed media canvas with images from Collage Leaves 2 and texture made with the Marks 3 stencil.

Sometimes we don’t know what to give when it’s a friend’s birthday, I think we all have everything and surely a unique handmade thing is to their liking, so go ahead and make unique gifts.

First I drew some circles with Stabilo Woodys in different colors. I used them dry and with the help of a brush, I activated the colors with water to give it a more watercolor touch.

I use the light modeling paste with the stencil Marks 3, I dried and then I used infusion powder to make the texture pop. With the black posca mop’r marker I make one black drop mark.

I have stamped different types of leaves from Collage leaves 2 stamp set , on different papers and with different ink colors to make the final composition. I cut them all out so I can see how it looks, and try different options.

In this case to add the sentiment I used a premade sticker, I mount it on top of a piece of sari ribbon, and some pice of cotton also. Finally I use some posca markers to make some splatters.
