Mixed Media Collage Tags with Sketchy Flowers

Hi everyone, Susanne here today with some artsy tags.

Creating mixed media collage tags with gel printed papers and our Sketchy Flowers 1 stamp set is a great way to make unique and eye-catching pieces of art! In this blog post, I’ll go through the steps to making these fun and creative tags.

First, you’ll need to gather your supplies. You’ll need a range of gel printed paper scraps, as well as some paint and some tags cut from watercolor paper. You’ll also need a selection of Neocolor Crayons for mark making and a black ink pad for stamping.

Now it’s time to get started! Begin by cutting and taring some of the gel printed papers into different shapes and glue them onto your surface with a glue stick. Add a bit of acrylic paint to some areas and let it dry. Then, use a background stamp to add texture to the tags. You could also use different colors of ink to add variation and depth, if you want to.

Finally, you can use the Sketchy Flowes to embellish your tags. I stamped them to watercolor paper and colored them in loosely with watercolors. I finished them up by adding a sentiment. Please note, the sentiments are part of our new release, coming in January 😉

You can watch the process for one of the tags here in this instagram reel:

I hope you like the tags! Thanks for stopping by today! xx Susanne
