Mixed Media Index Card with Rainbow Stencil and Brusho Background
Hi there, Susanne here! I am participating in this years #icad2023 challenge over on instagram. Icad means index card and I am “decorating” one card each day in June and July. I cut my cards from either watercolor or mixed media paper. It’s holds a lot more supplies than a regular index card and I also don’t have index cards at home. For today’s card I started with a Brusho background. Once this was dry I stenciled over it with gesso and our Rainbows 1 stencil.
To finish up the backgrounds I added some more stamping and some white splatters with acrylic ink. Scroll down to watch the full process.
For the flower I used one of the Sketchy Leaves 1 stencil images together with watercolors. After the watercolor were dry I cut the image out and drew some vains with a white posca paint pen. To finish up the icad I adhered it together with a word from our new Mix A Sentiment 2023 stamp set.
