Mixed Media Tag with handmade Collage Paper

   

Hi there! Susanne here today with my first post in 2023. Before I am starting I wish you all a happy and healthy New Year!!!

Today’s creation is a mixed media tag with a handmade collage paper and of course some stamps. Our Carved Collection #1 is back in stock, so I decided to use it on this tag. Click on more to also watch a videos of the process!

This is the collage paper I used for the background. I played with acrylic paints and a stamp from Pencil Marks 6. If you use your stamps with acrylics it’s important to not let the paint dry on the stamp. Otherwise it’s a bit hard to clean it. In case your paint has dried on your stamp, you can remove it with alcohol or you let it sit in water for a while and then brush the paint off. But it’s definitely easier to clean it while the paint is wet.
