Mixed Media Tag with Textured Sea Creatures

Hello arty friends,

Angie here with a quick mixed media tag tutorial for you using the gorgeous Rainbows 2 stencil for the background and images from the lovely Textured Sea Creatures stamped onto Brusho backgrounds.

I came across this tag which is a very pale pink colour and added some turquoise stencilling using the lovely Rainbows 2 stencil. I also added stamped a few bubbles from the Textured Sea Creatures Set.

Next I created some background papers for my stamped images. I sprinkled Brusho Powder on my craft mat, spritzed with water and then mopped this up with white paper. Once these papers had dried I added some gold splatter using diluted gold acrylic paint and a small paintbrush.

I stamped and cut out my images – I used one selection of colour per image.

I glued my chosen images onto my tag, then edged the tag with gold acrylic paint and a sponge. I also added a stamped quote.
