Mixed Media Tags with Inky Background and Collage Leaves

Hi there, Susanne here sharing a new video tutorial! I am creating a trio of mixed media tags with a loose and inky background using some of our Collage Leaves 2 and Collage Leaves 3 stamps as my focal point.

I cut the tags from Canson Mix Media paper and created a loose background by dipping the tags into acrylic ink that I had mixed with a bit of water on my working surface. I used Amsterdam Turquoise Green and Liquitex Prussian Blue. I added also some white ink splatters.
Once the tags were dry I added some texture with black StazOn ink and a blending brush using our Mini Ink Dots stencil. I also stamped images from Mix It Up 6 in Midnight Blue and Emerald Green. To give the tags an even more mixed media vibe I used our new Stitching Borders.
I did some mark making with an orange Neocolor crayon.
To finish the tags I adhered some handmade washi tape together with my focal images. I stamped these with black embossing powder to a gelli print.
