A Garden Cat Card with Pencil Marks 1

Hello, Samantha here today and I’m sharing a cute card using three stamp sets: Pencil Marks 1, Mix it Up 1 and Garden Cats. It’s a perfect one for all cat lovers out there! For the background I am using watercolors.

I created the background using the wet on wet watercolour technique and using stamps from the Pencil Marks 1 set and Mix it Up 1 sets. Some I stamped using ink and others I used acrylic paint, if you use acrylic paint don’t forget to clean your stamps right away before the paint dries! I added details with posca paint pens, especially on the leaves coming down which the leaves were also painted in with the paint they were stamped with. The cat from the Garden Cat set is simply stamped on white card, coloured with watercolour paint and adhered in place on top of a small piece of colour coordinating washi tape. Finishing touches were inky splats of black and white and a little shading around the cat before adhering on to my 5 inches by 5 inches card blank. This card could be used for most occasions, I just need to add a sentiment before sending.
