This was my first time using the Merry Magpie stamp set, I have to say this bird is such fun to use and a great size and shape as looking at him moves the eye around the page and he’s so handsome just left as a black and white image surrounded by colour making him pop off the page.

ContinuedHello, Samantha here today and I’m sharing a beautiful, quick project featuring one of my favourite Rubber Dance Stamps, the gorgeous butterfly. I started by covering a greyboard tag and some thick white card, using watercolour paints I made the background and then stamped on some details using coordinating distress inks and the Mixed Media #3 stamp set. I stamped the butterfly and coloured using the same colours, added some highlights with a white Posca pen and cut out. I then adhered the moon, butterfly, stars and ‘fly’ text in place and as always I finished with some inky splats. Finally some ribbon.
