Home is a Feeling Mixed Media Decor Project for you Happy Place

Hello, Samantha here today and I’m sharing a mixed media home decor project using Celestial, and Happy Place stamps sets along with Rainbows 2 stencil. A project combining the moon, flowers, a cosy looking home and some rainbows ticks all my boxes to make me happy and I’ll be able to hang this somewhere I can see it every day.

I began by applying texture paste through the Rainbows 2 stencil and when dry I painted with white gesso and a final coat of ivory paint. There are splashes of watercolour paints and some glitter too. The moon (Celestial stamp set), flowers (Loose Florals 1), house (Happy Place) and text were all stamped on white card and adhered in place. I coloured the images using watercolour paints and Prismacolour pencils. Finishing touches were gems to the flower centres, glossy accents on the windows and the twine for hanging.
