Cute Birthday Card with Guinea Pig

Hello, Samantha here today and I’m sharing a birthday card I made for a special lady who adores guinea pigs. I used three fabulous stamp sets from Rubber Dance, they are: Guinea Pig, Inky Mushrooms and Mix It Up 3.

The card is 5 inches by 5 inches, as you can see to add a little depth I’ve layered the main image on a slightly larger piece of paper before adding to the card blank. I created the back ground by using an embossing folder to add extra texture before inking over the raised areas, I then stamped the pink hearts and the green leaves from the Mix It Up 3 stamp set. The guinea pig, blossom and mushroom were all stamped on white card and coloured using watercolours.

The finishing touch was white highlights with a Posca pen and the sentiment which is from the guinea pig stamp set.
