Clean and Simple Card using Dotted 1 and Carved Collection

Hey! It’s Laura on the blog today and I have a clean and simple card to share with you using the Dotted 1 stencil and the Carved Collection 6 stamp set!

Sometimes less is more and that’s what I found here. I was playing with my embossing powers and I had a white piece of card on my desk with a masked off border so I added embossing ink through the Dotted 1 stencil using a blending brush. I then added embossing powder and heat set it and then removed the tape. It created this lovely framed card panel.

I stamped a bird from the Carved Collection 6 stamp set and added a sentiment from my stash. Added a layer of burgundy card and mountedd it on a card blank and the card was finished. A clean and simple design but I think that bold embossing and bird and so striking.
