Mixed Media Greeting card with Gelli Background and Pencil Marks 4

Hey there, it’s Evi on the blog today with a mixed media greeting card made with a gelli background, the Dotted stencil with a paste and the Pencil Marks 4 stamping set.

When working with the gelli plate, you often get such great papers that you can also use as a background. So I chose this paper with pink, red and orange colours to apply further textures to it with the Dotted stencil and texture paste. I then selected the flowers from the Pencil Marks 4 stamp set and stamped and coloured them on marker paper. With a little glitter and shiny gloss, the flowers look very classy.

I added accents from the stamp set Mix It Up 5 to the background to give it a little more detail and also added a few strokes of colour to make it shine. The white die-cut frame, the zig-zag stitched border and the masking tape add further detail to the whole card.
