Greeting Card using Inky Friends and Doodle Borders

Hey! It’s Laura on the blog today and I have an inky card to share with you using the Inky Friends and Doodle Borders stamp sets.

Here is a quick process video:

  1. Using water colour cardstock I inked up the Doodle Borders stamp with embossing ink and repeat stamped it on my cardstock. I then added white embossing powder and heat set it.
  2. I then added shimmer powders. I used pink, yellow and green in that order so that when they mixed they didn’t create a muddy colour. The pink blending into the yellow created a lovely orange colour and the yellow and the green created another shade of green 🙂
  3. I stamped the Inky Friends stamps on black card, again using embossing ink, and added white embossing powder and heat set it. I also did the same with the Mix a Sentiment Stamp Set.
  4. I used a die from my stash to cut out a panel from the background and then arranged my Inky Friends and words onto the card front.

I hope you like it and that it gives you some inspiration to use your stamps and get inky today!

Happy crafting!
