CAS Greeting Cards with Doodle Flowers 2 & Angelina Fibres

Lindsey (doodlings_cards) here with a pair of clean and simple (CAS) mixed media greetings cards using the Doodle Flowers 2 stamp set, coloured with Lindy’s Magicals pigment powders and some iridescent Angelina fibres.

Here’s the step by step tutorial:

My focal images are from the Doodle Flowers 2 stamp set, heat embossed on water colour paper, then coloured in with Lindy’s Magicals pigment powders.

For the card backgrounds, I used 2 different Gelli prints, die cut into circles, then adhered to white card blanks.

Have you ever played with Angelina fibres? They’re wonderful shimmery, iridescent fibres that fuse when heated. Lots of fun!
They do have a tendency to float everywhere, so beware 😁
You need to sandwich them between something – you could use copier paper, or cooking greaseproof paper; I use oven liner as it can get rather hot!. Then heat with a heat tool until the fibres fuse.
