Flower Greeting Cards with Stenciled Gelli Background

Hi there, Susanne here! Today I’m sharing two flower greeting cards using our Inky Flowers stamps combined with a leafy gelli printed background using our Leaves 2 stencil. I really love using my own handmade design papers on cards! That’s so unique compared to usual design papers you can buy in carft stores.

For my cards I used two pieces of the gel print and adhered them at an angle to my card bases using some foam tape. I cut the pieces with a frame die first, adhered them and then cut away the overlapping edges.

My flowers are stamped to watercolor paper and colored in with watercolor markers. I cut them out by leaving a white border around the images. That makes them pop up from the backgrounds. I adhered them also with dimensional foam dots. The sentiment is embossed in white to black cardstock, it comes on the Sketchy Flowers 3 stamp set or on Greetings.
