Greeting Card Tutorial with Rainbow Stencil Background

Hey there, it’s Evi on the blog again and today I show you my tutorial of a greeting card with the Rainbows 2 stencil and our Bumble & Bee stamp set.

To start with, I placed the stencil on the cardstock and applied distress oxide colours in the shades fired brick, wild honey and scattered straw with the help of brushes.
I stamped the bees with embossing ink on the background and then sprinkled them with white embossing powder and heat embossed them.
I stamped the bees on other cardstock and heat embossed them in black and then coloured them.
The bees were cut out and the wings were coated with gloss.
For better contrast, a frame would be sewn on and a black cardstock glued under the background.
Finally the bees were fixed with foam tape and the text was glued on.

I hope you like my step by step instructions and get creative too.

xx Evi / Ki_wiana
