Greetings Card with Whale Wishes

Hi arty friends, how are you?

I came across an old scrapbook pad the other day and thought I’d use some of the papers to make a card with our lovely Whale Wishes stamp set. This set is super cute and so versatile. It’s not only great for cards, or baby-albums, it’s also gorgeous for your art journal.

I chose a background colour (blue) and a main image colour (pink), and stamped the whale on the pink paper.

I stamped another whale for a mask and used this to make sure I stamped the water in the right place on the background. I used sparkly embossing powder for the water. Next I added some branches to the background to add some more interest.

I cut out the whale and glued him onto the card. I stamped the quote on another piece of paper from the same pad, edged it with a pink ink pad and glued it on.

Finally I matted the whole thing onto a pink piece of paper and glued it onto my card.
