Patchwork Cards with Gelli Prints and Sketch Leaves

Hi there, Susanne here sharing a card making video using collage fodder made with our Sketchy Leaves 1 stencil on a patchwork background, made with little squares cut from gelli prints.

I picked two gelli prints that had some kind of autumnal colors and cut it into little inches using a frame die and my Sizzix Big Shot. I made the backgrounds by adhering the squares next to each other on a piece of card stock.

Once the backgrounds where done I cut them out and glued them to a card base.
I picked two collage fodder leaves made with our Sketchy Leaves 1 and the gelli plate as my focal images. I adhered those with some foam tape. I’ve linked up the video on how to make this kid of collage fodder at the end of this post! It’s not only nice for greeting cards! I’ve used these a lot already on art journal pages or other mixed media projects.

Here is a video tutorial for you on how I made these cards:

Here are some close-ups of the cards. I stamped a sentiment from our Sketchy Flowers 3 (or on Greetings) with green embossing powder to a banner and adhered it to the bottom of each card.
