Greeting card with Collage Leaves 3

Hey, it’s Evi here on the blog again, this time with a card that’s perfect for sending out at the start of the new year. For the most part, I worked with the Mini Textures and Ornament 1 stencils and added stamps from Collage Leaves 3 and Kartengrüße.

At the beginning, I divided my paper into squares and taped them with masking tape. Then I used distress oxides in pink and orange to create the background. I applied the stencil Mini Textures and colored them first with water and then with Magicals. I applied the pattern from the Ornament 1 stencil using brushes with Distress Oxides.

Then I added accents with various stamps. I stamped the branches from the Collage Leaves 3 set onto old text pages, heat embossed them, and cut them out.
I stuck the square with the black background onto the card and added a sentence from the Kartengrüße set.
