Autumal Art Journal Page with Collage Fodder Embellishments

Hi there, Susanne here with some autumnal inspiration using some collage fodder embellishments, that I’ve made with our new Textured Mushrooms 2 stamp set and leaves made with Sketchy Leaves 4! For the background I used some handmade Washi Tape and Brusho powders.

I started this spread my adhering some of my handmade Washi Tape and covered that with clear gesso. There is a video tutorial on how to make these linked at the bottom of this post. Once the gesso was dry I added color with Brusho powders in purple, leaf green, gamboge and black. I added some highlights with the white Art Graf Tailor shape watercolor crayon.

For the focal images I am using some of my handmade collage fodder embellishments with our Textured Mushrooms 2 and two leaves made with our Sketchy Leaves 4 stencil and Brushos. (here is described how these are done). A video on the ephemera pieces is linked at the end of this post! I am finishing the page by creating a sentiment with our A to Z stamps. I stamped them to some pink paper, cut them out, adhered them and painted them with an ivory posca pen.
