Artist Trading Cards with Loose Florals stamp set

Lindsey (doodlings_cards) with a mixed media tutorial – a set of ATCs with blooms from the lovely BRAND NEW Loose Florals 2024 set. For the backgrounds, I used the fabulous Mix it Up 1 and Mixed Media Marks 1 sets. These are my favourite sets for mark making – highly recommend them!😊

A quick and easy background using complementary acrylic paint colours brayered onto a piece of card, which I then cut to ATC size (2.5″ x 3.5″).

I added stamping in tonal colours with images from the Mix it Up 1 set with some marks heat embossed in white for a bit of contrast.

To finish off the backgrounds, I added some paint splatters using my Gansai Tambi watercolours;
stamped some more images from the Mix it Up 1 and Mixed Media Marks 1 sets onto tissue paper;
adhered these down and stitched around the edges of the ATCs.

The final touches – focal images from the lovely Loose Florals 1 and Looser Florals 2024 set. These were stamped in waterproof Versamark ink, and coloured in using Neocolour II watercolour crayons.

Everything ready to assemble!
