Artist Trading Cards using Brushos & Wheels Stencil

Lindsey (doodlings_cards) here with a pair of Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) using images from Inky Mushrooms 1 and backgrounds made with Brusho pigment powders and the new Wheels stencil together with some collage bits and bobs!

First for the background – I placed the Wheels stencil on a piece of watercolour paper, spritzed with water, then added liberal sprinklings of Brushos (pigment powders – other brands area available!). Reminds me of lemon and orange slices 😁

Whilst I had the Brushos out, I used them to dye some cotton fabric.

For my focal images, I stamped images from the Inky Mushrooms 1 set using VersaFine ink (waterproof) and water coloured them with Neocolor II crayons and metallic gold Gansai Tambi paints.

Gather yourself some collage fodder ….

Add some stitching …

All done! Here’s a couple of close ups:

I hope I’ve inspired you to get inky!
Thanks so much for stopping by 😊 Lindsey x
