Mixed Media Tag with Textured Mushrooms #2

Hi there, Susanne here today sharing a mixed media mini tag using our Textured Mushrooms 2 and Doodle Flowers 2 stamp set on a messy collage background.

I started this tag with some background stamping using the text stamp from Mix It Up 4. I then adhered bits and pieces of collage paper and covered the whole tag with a layer of clear gesso.
To bring in color I used soft pastels in a green and blue shade. I applied the pastels directly to the surface and then moved the pigments around with water. Usually that technique works with almost all brands of soft pastels, but some work better than others. I am using the Sennelier pastels.
To create the focal images I stamped some of the Textured Mushrooms 2 and the leaves from Doodle Flowers 2 with Versafine Clair in black and clear embossing powder over the top. I colored them loosely with Brusho pigment powders and watercolors.
I wanted to have some more collage pieces on my tag for the focal images to sit on and used some of the ticket stamps from Mix It Up 1 & Mix It Up 2.

My title is made with our A to Z letters. I stamped them to a gelli print and cut them out. I then colored them in with a white Posca pen.
