July Moodboard Challenge Inspiration

Hello Rubber Dance friends. Gail here today to start July with a bang of inspiration from the team. Did you see the new stamps and stencils in June?? Yes, Rubber Dance now also sells stencils!! Awesome limited edition designs by Susanne. Hop over to the shop to check them out and see the release post for masses of inspiration.

Susanne has invited some guest designers to join us each month and today we are introducing our July guest. Also, first day of the month, so we have a new moodboard, and the heat is on!!!  The team uses this for their inspiration projects, and if you need a little help to get your creativity moving this might be just the thing.  You can be inspired by anything on the moodboard; one or more colours, things, shapes, memories it inspires, things it makes you feel, etc. etc..  It’s basically anything goes, but in case you need a little help to get started Dunja has put together this awesome inspiration for you.

Here’s the wonderful July Moodboard

If you are creating anything with Rubber Dance stamps this month, whatever your inspiration, please share in our FB fan group, or on instagram using #rubberdancemoodboard and tag us @rubberdance in your post, cos someone is going to win €10 to spend in the Rubber Dance store!   Don’t forget…. You gotta be in it to win it! You don’t have to use the moodboard, any new project is eligible for the prize.

Before I get to the inspiration from the team please welcome our guest designer for July……

Heike Kiss

My name is Heike, and I am living in the middle of Germany close to the mountains near Frankfurt. I am a mother of two married adult sons and we also have a wonderful dog.

As I am working fulltime in a European digital marketing team of a big American pharma company, I enjoy crafting on the weekends and whenever possible in the evening hours too, as it helps me to calm down and relax.

Crafting is something I loved already as a kid, lost track of when starting to work, and came back to it when the kids where young. I have been paper crafting and stamping for 5 years now, and last year I started to discover mixed media, signing up for the wanderlust year long class.

Although I am more into water colouring, I love to combine it with acrylics and other mediums to allow different effects. I very much enjoy collecting and creating collage materials and working with the gelli plate is one of the most relaxing things I can imagine. Usually I do Art Journaling, cards, tags and ATCs and I am always curious about trying new things, techniques, and materials.

When looking for nice rubber stamps it was very clear that I found Rubber Dance Stamps and immediately loved them. I am feeling extremely honoured to now being a guest designer for the month of July and sharing my joy for these stamps, and most recently stencils, with others.

Here’s Heike’s lovely tag using Flowers Gone Wild, Textured Sea Creatures and the Leaves 1 stencil

Gorgeous. Thanks so much Heike. You can see more of Heike’s lovely art on instagram.
