Greeting Card with Gold Embossed Autumn Leaves

Hi there, Susanne here! Today I’m sharing an autumnal greeting card using our brand new Autumn Leaves stamp set combined with an elegant dry embossed stencil background. Instead of using ink to stamp the leaves I used gold embossing powder together with watercoloring. The embossing will resist the watercolors.

Did you know, that you can dry emboss with our stencils? All you need is a die-cutting machine. It gives wonderful results, perfect for your cardmaking. I already made a tutorial a while ago and will link it up at the end of the post.

For my card I used the embossed paper and added some interest by splattering watercolors onto them. The leaves are stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with gold powder. I colored them in with watercolors and cut them out.
