Birthday Cards with Watercolor Background & Pencil Marks 4

Hi there, Susanne here again. I have some fun cards to share today using a flower from our Pencil Marks 4 stamps set together with a watercolor background. I created a bigger watercolor piece to cut it apart and to create more than just one card with it. Click on contiune for a video tutorial on how I made these cards.

Here is a quick instagram reel on how I made the background an the cards:

This card is inspired by this month’s moodboard challenge! Don’t forget to play along for a chance to win a 10€ voucher to the store. Details are here:

I hope you like my cards and the video!

xx Susanne

  1. Oh I do love the cards! Who wouldn’t want to receive one for a special occasion–or none at all?

What I’m gathering from this card and one with Doodle Flowers (also very colorful) is that the image is stamped with embossing powder–black or white or whatever color–then heat embossed, creating a raised line. Within those lines is where one can watercolor paint, marker paint, or whatever technique you want. It’s the embossing that is a key step. Correct?

    Thanks!!

    Sharon

  2. I love these cards–simple techniques, but all together, a lovely and thoughtful card that anyone would want to receive.

I’m not finding the “continue” –as “click to continue” for the detailed instructions. I viewed the IG reel, but I would like some additional details. What am I missing?

    thanks!

    Sharon

    • Dear Sharon. You didn’t miss anything. I’m continuously making a mistake writing the text. On our main page is the continue button, not in the post itself. I will change that. Thank you. Happy you like the cards!!! If you have any questions, just let me know!
