Birthday Wishes with Sketchy Flowers

Hello, Samantha here today and I have a tutorial showing how I made a birthday card for a friend, using two stamp sets and some watercolours.

I gold heat embossed this beautiful flower from the Pencil Marks 6 stamp set and coloured using watercolour paints.
Using the watercolour paints I wetted the paper and added colours ensuring that the colour ran in to other circles.
To finish I added the sentiment from the Sketchy Flowers 2 stamp set and adhered the flower in place and adhered the whole piece on to a blank card measuring 5in by 5in.
Using a pencil and a circle stencil I lightly drew different sized, slightly connected circles, making sure to leave some white space.
When my colourful wet circles were dry I added some black and white splats of ink, just for added detail to this simple background.

Thanks for stopping by today! xx Sam
