DIY Collage Fodder Folder with Autumn Leaves

Hi there, Susanne here with a fun idea on how to store or gift your handmade collage fodder! I am making little folders with gelli prints and a die from Sizzix. If you don’t have a gel print you can, of course, use any kind of design paper or even a blank piece of card stock.

If you don’t have a die for the folder you can make something similar following this tutorial. Just don’t add the flaps to glue a pocket!

I used some autumnal gelli prints that I made with images from Twiggy Leaves and I Love Leaves (both unmounted rubber sheets). To decorate the fronts I used images from our Autumn Leaves set, stamped to gelli prints, too. The Autumn Leaves stamp set is 10% during September! So grab your’s now! I also adhered a piece of my handmade washi tape (tutorial is linked at the end of the post). I made a closure with a small circle die cut and a decorative brad.

I stamped a title to both of the folders with our A to Z stamp set.

I filled my folder with our Textured Mushrooms stamps that I had stamped with black Versafine Clair ink and embossed with clear powder. I then quickly colored them with Brushos. I used these mushrooms already a bunch of times in my last projects.

To hold the collage fodder mushrooms in place I adhered a strip of a gel print to the inside. Just on the left and right edge, so I am able to slip in the embellishments.

Here is the video on how I made the Washi Tape:

I hope I could inspire you a little bit, thanks for stopping by today!

xx Susanne
