Mushroom Tag with Inky Mushrooms

Hi arty friends, how are you.

You may or may not know that I am a huge lover of mushrooms and I purposely made myself wait for a while before I used the mushroom stamps, just to see how long I would last!

But here I am today with a tag for you. Aren’t they just the best?

I used Distress Oxides and the new Organic 1stencil on a cream coloured tag to create a simple background, and added some background stamping and dark pink splatter.

I also made a 3-colour gelli print using the Marks 1 stencil for my mushrooms and leaves.

I cut out the stamped leaves & mushrooms and arranged them on the tag, then added a little bit of mark making with the edge of a credit card and pen lid (using the same colour as the splatter) to make the mushroom blend into the overall design.

Finally I added a quote from the xx stamp set and used Distress Oxide around the edge.
