Mixed Media Index Card with Textured Mushrooms

Hi there, Susanne here sharing a mixed media index card with acrylic inks, some stamping with images Mix It Up 4 and Mix It Up 6 and a few of our Textured Mushrooms 2.

This card is done quite quickly. I made a background, primed with gesso, using acrylic inks. To bring in a bit more interest I used sand paper and rubbed some Derwent Inktense pencil pigments into the wet ink. To bring texture to the index card I used images from our Mix It Up 4 and Mix It Up 6 stamp sets. The mushrooms are stamped in black and embossed with clear powder. I colored them with watercolors and cut them out.
I used a dark blue Derwent Inktense pencil to draw a bottom for the mushrooms to grow on.
