Collage Paper Collection using and Old Book and Stamps

Hi everyone, Susanne here today. I wanted to share a nice way on how to create and store collage papers using an old book and some mark making stamps. I recently went to a book-market and grabed a very old maths book. The pages are full with numbers and because of their age they already have this yellow/brown color. Messy Art Journal Page with Sketchy Leaves

Hi there, Susanne here and I’m sharing a messy art journal page in my new handmade pocket journal using one of our Sketchy Leaves stamps as a focal image. On the background I played with acrylic paints and stamps from our Carved Collection 3 and Mix It Up 1. I adhered some collage paper scraps to the top right. To give this a sewn look I stamped it with a stamp from Mixed Media Marks 1 before.

Art Journal Page with Grungy Butterflies, Mix it Up 2 and Tim Holtz Stencil

Today is the day again when we use our hands for painting. There is something truly liberating about it, isn’t there?

First, I stamped the patterns onto old book pages. I stamped the butterfly onto watercolor paper because I’ll be watering it down well.

Art Journaling with Inky Friends
